| Program Description |
UnlimitedFTP is an FTP client the runs in a web browser. UnlimitedFTP allows its users to upload, download and synchronize the files between their local computer and their FTP site. What makes UnlimitedFTP so unique is that it runs in a web browser. This allows you to put UnlimitedFTP on your website, and preconfigure it to automatically connect and perform operations
| Local Functions |
Local file list
The file list allows you to view your local files and directories. You can navigate
through your files by double clicking on any directory
Delete
Deletes the selected file(s) in your Local file list
View
View will attempt to open the selected file with it's associated application.
If there is no associated application, this action will fail.
DirInfo
Displays information about your current Local folder. It will show you a list
of files/folders as well as their size (in bytes), the date they were last modified.
Refresh
Updates the Local List to reflect any changes that may have occurred to your
file system outside of UnlimitedFTP
Rename
Renames the currently selected local file or folder to the name you specify.
ChangeDir
Changes your current Local directory to the directory you specify
MakeDir
Creates a new directory with the name you specify
| Remote Functions |
Remote file list
The file list allows you to view your remote files and directories. You can
navigate through your files by double clicking on any directory
Delete
Deletes the selected file(s) in your remote file list
View

Site
Allows you to send advanced commands to your FTP server. One of the
most popular uses is to perform a CHMOD on your files. To do this, press the
Site button, enter CHMOD <permissions> <filename>. An example might
be "CHMOD 755 index.html". Another command that is understood by most
servers is the HELP command, which will return a list of all the SITE commands
that the server understands.
Set Web Permissions
You can access this option by right clicking a file on your FTP site. It allows
you to change the permissions of files so they are viewable on a web site. Some
FTP sites will do this automatically, but if not this can be used to do it manually.
| Uploading |
Uploading means you are sending files from your computer to another. To upload files with UnlimitedFTP just select files in the local list that you wish to upload. You can hold down CTRL while clicking to select multiple files, or hold SHIFT to select a range of files. When you are finished selecting files, click on the Upload button and the files will be sent to your FTP server.
| Downloading |
Downloading means you are getting files from another computer and storing them on your own. To download files with UnlimitedFTP just select files in the remote list that you wish to download. You can hold down CTRL while clicking to select multiple files, or hold SHIFT to select a range of files. When you are finished selecting files, click on the Download button and the files will be transferred to your computer.
| Synchronizing |
The "Sync" option allows you to synchronize the files in the current local directory and the current remote directory. Depending on the "syncpriority", UnlimitedFTP will make sure al of the local/remote files are as current as possible.
| Right Click Options |
You can perform various operations on files and folders by right clicking on them. These options are described above. You can also clear the FTP message area by right clicking.
